Medical and Emergency Facilities The Port Ludlow Volunteer Fire Department was formed in 1965 and has provided emergency service for over thirty (30) years. Today, Port Ludlow Fire and Rescue is a full service fire department providing fire protection and suppression, rescue, and emergency medical transport for the greater Port Ludlow and surrounding communities. Also, Port Ludlow Fire and Rescue provides fire prevention, accident prevention, first aid and CPR classes. Port Ludlow Fire and Rescue has a dedicated staff of over thirty professionals ready to serve you. As part of Jefferson County, Port Ludlow residents receive Emergency Medical Aid from qualified Emergency Medical Technicians and are provided services through our enhanced E911 service. Port Ludlow is served by three fire stations. Station #31, located at 7650 Oak Bay Road is a brand new, state of the art fire station, completed in December 2001. Other stations include #32 located at 121 West Alder and station #33 and our headquarters station located at Highway 104 and Southpoint Road.
